Service was ridiculous. I stood on a picnic table and stuck my short little arm out as far as it could just to get a text message out. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't.

I will be honest. If we don't get our QB situation under wraps, which I honestly don't think either is going to be the solution, we might be in trouble. It will beat the Pounds, TW, Appy, RC's of the world but Clintwood will be a diff story. Good thing we have about 7 weeks to prepare.

Sorry ass service. I got into Norton and all of a sudden got 23 text messages that evidently piled up while I was in BFE. The 56-7 score didn't even do that one justice. We really didn't play all that well. This is the worst I have ever seen a Appy team. Also, I have never been to Riggs Stadium that the home side wasn't packed, there might have been 40% there tonight on the home side. I don't know who all they got on the schedule but it could be an 0-10 season for them, unless they have Ervinton or somebody like that.

The last two times I've been to Riggs the home stands have only been about half full.

I was at the game too Vols2...my assessment is that Appy will prolly be strong in a year or so, but when you have 2 freshmen in the starting backfield they'll play like freshmen. And they can't tackle well right now...and if you can't stop the crossbuck, you aren't going to win many games. Coaching has to be able to adjust instead of seeing the same play put 28 points on ya. Now for Norton. 5,2,and 17 are the solid players I saw on the field...the rest are adequate. D is soft on the left..and the D line is slow reacting. On O, the line didn't really impress me, but the speed of the backs made up for it. After seeing them play tonight tho, I think they'll run into trouble later on in the year and prolly lose 2 or 3 games. It's really hard to tell much with the competition on the field tonight, but IMO speed is their best friend..but I question strength on the lines.
